- This highly regarded manufacturing business with operations throughout the world has seen significant growth over the years. With a number of sites in the region, they have a long and established history here in Greater Manchester. Manufacturing high grade products for the defence, aerospace, food and beverage and packaging industries they have led the way in innovation and technology.
With significant investment being made across the company they are now looking to expand their Technical Textiles Team with specific focus on fire retardant, fire stopping and thermalmaterials.
Duties:
- Co-ordinating laboratory testing to meet customer requirements in compliance with ISO standards
- Advising customers on fabric choices, specification enquiries and properties.
- Working with customers and the technical team to develop new products and processes.
- Providing data sheets, specifications, Health and Safety data sheets and other technical literature.
- Arranging testing and trials of new products and processes.
- Ensuring the company is up to date with patents and trademark renewals.
- Assist with analyses, specifications, test methods and release queries in the laboratory
