- FJA are working with an established Engineering Maintenance Company based in the Bury area who are looking to recruit Chemical Cleaning Operatives.
This role will be based in their workshop, however, there may be some site work from time to time.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that who are going through a period of growth.
Full training will be provided for the role and there will be the opportunity to gain qualifications whilst in the role.
Reporting to the Production Manager your day-to-day responsibilities will include;
-Carrying out chemical cleaning work
-Spraying the parts clean with a high-pressure sprayer and / or blowing dry using the air / nitrogen gun
-Moving the parts using the overhead crane or forklift
-Discuss progress with the production manager after each work phase
-Coordination of activities with colleagues and discuss work progress with the Production Manager
-Completing final checks and signing work orders
Requirements
-Knowledge of Chemical Cleaning would be a distinct advantage
-Team player
-Customer focus
-Security awareness
-Quality awareness
-Sense of responsibility
-Use of overhead crane would be advantageous
-FLT Licence would be beneficial
-Driving Licence is essential
