When speaking with candidates I have found that a lot of information isn't actually on their own CV. Therefore, it is important to go through CVs point by point in detail to ensure that all relevant duties are recorded - you could be hindering your job search as both potential employers and some recruiters do tend to skim over CV's looking for the perfect candidate.

I would also recommend that you remain factual and truthful - there is no point in saying you can do something when you really can't as some candidates have found out once they have started a new role and have then found themselves back on the job market
