Data Analyst

Finlay Jude Associates are working with a leading national contractor who specialise in the utilities sector. Having a long established history in the UK they are seeking to strengthen their team with an experienced Data Analyst. The Data Analyst will be office based in the North London area.
 
Working alongside Senior Management, you will be responsible for providing analytical support for the Contract on a day to day basis.
 
You will need to be have a good understanding of Data and be proficient in MS Excel, but most of all you’ll have a desire to learn. This is a fantastic opportunity which offers excellent career progression and a defined career path. Full industry training will be provided.
 
About the job

• Review and reconcile leakage detection performance against repair photographs and corporate data to ensure accurate closure of jobs based on the leak location
• Any discrepancies will be identified and shall be requested for change in corporate systems
• Feedback will be given to Field Team leaders to ensure a feedback mechanism is in place with our Field based technicians
• Analysing large amounts of data and providing feedback
• Working closely with the business to understand their reporting needs
• Delivering dashboards, reports, KPI’s and insights across a wide range of projects
• Updating the corporate systems with performance feedback from field crews
• Liaising with both Engineers and Analysts

 
About the successful applicant

• Worked in the infrastructure services/construction/support services/ utility industry, ideally with water sector experience
• An understanding of performance management and how performance indicators can be used within an organisation
• Exceptional, demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel. MS Access experience and PowerPoint experience preferable.
• Adaptable to change; able to respond to shifting requirements and priorities.
• Well organised and structured approach to work with good attention to detail.
• A Full UK Driving License, is preferred.
