- FJA are working on behalf of leading Utility Company who are recruiting for an Area Sales Manager.
As Area Sales Manager most of your time will be spent in the field visiting both new and existing clients. Serving the growing client base whilst using own networking and research skills to generate new leads.
The successful candidate will possess experience in the utilities sector, ideally within leak detection. The role is very much hands-on with the requirement for site visits, cold calling and B2B interface to provide solutions to fit customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business development
- Managing and expanding, serving existing and new clients
- Managing own sales targets
- Collaborating in the development of growth strategies
- Leading on bids and proposals
- Providing operational support
- Establishing relationships with the customer base
- Identification of potential new clients
- Attending sales meetings
- Any ad hoc duties as required
- Managing the after sales experience
Skills / Knowledge:
- Water industry experience would be desirable
- Capable of understanding customer needs and translating this into product ideas and functional specifications.
- Able to work remotely, alone and in a team
- Able to prioritise work
- Outgoing, friendly personality with a can-do attitude
- Able to be structured, diligent and accurate
