- Finlay Jude Associates are working with a leading national contractor who specialise in the utilities sector. Having a long established history in the UK they are seeking to strengthen their team with an experienced Business Development Manager. The role will be working out of the Manchester office.
The Business Development Manager will ideally possess experience within the drainage, plant hire, construction, civil engineering and waste or utilities sectors. Service based sales would be advantageous. The role is hands-on with the requirement for site visits and B2B interface to provide drainage solutions to fit customer requirements. As a recognised brand in their industry they are keen to ensure their reputation for quality, delivery and service.
The successful candidate will be working closely with the Divisional Manager, developing relationships and opportunities with sector clients, Contractors and Consultants.
Responsibilities:
- Developing long term frameworks
- Developing opportunities across Utility, Transportation, Industrial and Power sectors
- Assist Regional Managers in achieving budget sales line
- Achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Produce and maintain individual client records
- Produce projected sales figures and reports
- Provide quotations for clients when requested.
- Interface with clients to assist in providing best possible solutions for resolving problems
- Organise structured sales development within designated area
- Provide detailed information to Marketing Department relative to any potential key accounts
- Utilise the Marketing department to support structured sales strategy
- Source new business to promote the growth of the company
- Keeping all information updates on the CRM
- Attending conferences
- Carrying out customer care duties to increase revenue lines
- Ensure minimum profit requirements are achieved on sales orders
- Secure and complete tender documents
