Assistant Accountant

FJA are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant working for one of the UK’s leading utilities contractors.
 
The successful candidate for the Assistant Accountant role will be working 36.5hrs per week and will be based in the Client’s offices in Stevenage.
 
As part of the role as an Assistant Accountant  you will be assisting the finance team by;

• Posting journals
• Setting up new cost centres
• Generating reports and data manipulation within Excel
• Data analysis
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations
• Other adhoc finance tasks.

About the successful Assistant Accountant candidate:

• Must have Strong Financial and Analytical Skills
• Has strong IT Skills, including proficiency in MS Office
• Have a good knowledge and experience of a project costing systems
• Have good interpersonal skills across all levels
• Will be able to work under pressure and to tight timescales & deadline
