- FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the water and wastewater industry for an experienced Pressure Management Technical Specialist. This in an amazing opportunity for a highly-motivated individual to join their growing Engineering team.
Working as a Pressure Management Technical Specialist you will be working in a team of 2, responsible for leading pressure management investigations on the water network.
Your responsibilities as a Pressure Management Technical Specialist will include:
- Identifying and delivering Innovative, Smart solutions for the Clean Network
- Being part of a Core Team to deliver complex projects which will involve multi-discipline stakeholders to break open previous boundaries between IT/OT and the Physical Layer of Clean Infrastructure
- Leading investigations into Asset Reliability & Failure to identify and create optimal performance through Operational and/or Capital Solutions
- Creating innovative solutions through new and emerging IT/OT to change modes of control and optimise through cellular/IoT communication or local control
- Using Smart & Calm Network methodology to create system/City wide pressure managed areas to increase resilience level of Yorkshire
- Focusing on increasing the Smart maturity level of the company inline with Business Plan targets
- Through DMA targeting create optimisation schemes to enable further pressure reduction
- Working with the wider programme/department to provide key subject matter expertise into a multi data analytics platform
- Championing business change utilising new data analytics software to improve the way we work in the future
- Supervising ongoing programme of work from Contract Partners, tracking benefit and performance
- Leading Route Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations into Pressure Transient violations and define Solutions to remove residual risk to the Network
- Validating and quantify all schemes and activities to ensure optimal benefits at minimal cost (value engineering) whilst being able to clearly measure and articulate the benefits/impacts of the intervention against PCs
- Identifying and manage small & large value capital solutions from inception to financial completion utilising appropriate systems and controls and key stakeholders
- Producing a detailed design and PCI information to comply with CDM Regs for optimisation and meter replacement schemes
- Must hold a full UK Driving Licence
- Experience in a similar role
- Have good leadership skills
