- FJA are currently partnering with a leading utility company who are looking to recruit an experienced Lead Data Analyst to join their Data Team. You will be based in their offices in the Glasgow area
As the Lead Data Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the provision and recording of accurate, robust and timely data on the Contract.
You will need to have an excellent understanding of Data and be an advanced user in Microsoft Excel. This is a fantastic opportunity which offers excellent career progression and a defined career path. Full industry training will be provided.
Your day-to-day responsibilities as Lead Data Analyst will include;
- Reviewing and analysing large amounts of Contract data
- Responsible for recruitment and direct line management of team of up to 4
- Ensuring that the Contract is operating effectively
- To monitor results and performance of the Leakage Teams and the Contract as a whole
- Working closely with the business to understand their reporting needs
- Delivering dashboards, reports, KPI’s and insights across a wide range of projects
- Help to make data driven decisions
- It is important that you can demonstrate experience of using data to form management decisions
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query - manipulating data with use of formulas, generation and formatting of graphs and other data visualisations
- Knowledge of Power BI beneficial
- Knowledge of Sharepoint beneficial
- Water Industry knowledge would be advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organisation and time management skills - ability to manage your own workload
- Confidence in your ability to anticipate what is needed
- Flexibility and ability to use initiative
