Description
Finlay Jude Associates are working with a leading service provider who specialise in the Water ,Wastewater and Environmental industry. This successful and growing company are now looking for an experienced Project Manager.

Main responsibilities include
 
  • Reporting to the Northern Contracts Manager
  • Responsible for the delivery of M&E projects under a number of Northern Framework from £1k - >£2M
  • Work with the Project, Commercial, Design, & Operations team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Ensure compliance with CDM
  • Plan resource effectively and ensure internal processes are followed including monthly programme & forecast updates
  • Follow tender processes and supplier evaluations
  • Responsible for proactive management of health & safety, Site Inspection targets, and liaison with clients and suppliers
  • Reviewing subcontractor approvals and performance
  • Training and career development opportunities
  • Participate in client initiatives, be responsible for achieving KPI’s and increased Health & Safety performance
  • Deliver schemes as required in other areas that fall under the Northern Frameworks & Contracts Managers responsibility
 
Key skills
  • Well organised, have excellent customer skills and be IT literate in MS Office packages including MS Project
  • Hold appropriate qualifications in engineering and be able to display a sound understanding of relevant Legislation, CDM Regulations & duties, and NEC Contracts
  • Have appropriate experience and a technical understanding of the M&E requirements in the Water Industry
  • Require a full driving licence and there will be an element of working away with the role as and when required
