FJA are partnering with a leading UK consultancy who specialise in the wastewater Industry. Operating across the various wastewater sectors they have developed an excellent client base with a strong and recognised brand. We are currently supporting them in the recruitment for a Contract Manager.
The role is based in the North West with some travel to sites across the UK and Ireland. Regarded by many as an employer of choice, the business can offer ongoing training in a supportive team oriented working environment.
The Contract Manager will work with a small team delivering the supply of wastewater treatment systems throughout the UK and Ireland.
The team consists of 3 design engineers with one acting as design lead he manages the day to day design issues etc. Working alongside the production manager, installation coordinator and SHEQ manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery of projects ranging in value from £10k-£2m.
Will be required to run the jobs to programme and maintain budget whenever possible, coordinate procurement of equipment and provide up to date budget costings.
Must demonstrate good management skills as well as exceptional leadership and safety behaviours.
Possess good attention to detail and build excellent relationships with the end client.
Commercial experience is essential with an understanding of NEC 3 format subcontracts.
Good knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures, including maintenance and use of PPE
