This national Utilities Contractor has become regarded by many as a true industry leader. With a full and expanding order book they are now looking to build on their track record and consolidate their already dominant market presence. They are currently engaged in a high-profile framework in the North West which in turn is now generating national recognition. To help the project there is a need to increase the already successful team of Installation & Maintenance Support Technicians. The company are a firm believer in on-going development, and you can expect to receive excellent training, in a team focussed environment.

•This role requires you to install Data Loggers (small listening devices) within a DMA (District Metered Area) onto Water Valves located on the roadside
•Supporting the maintenance needs on our fleet of data loggers across the water company’s network by validating and reinstalling the logging devices.
•Identify and report any leaking pipes back to the office
•Using a variety of software devices on a mobile phone and PC and updating the database
•Identifying faults in sensors or aerials and actively fixing them
•Inspecting and reporting health and safety hazards
•To work efficiently and support and feedback to the in-office co-ordination team
•With the location of some of the schemes overnight stays will be a necessary

Skills and Experience:
•Having your Streetworks Card – NRSWA, Confined Space accreditation and a valid National Water Hygiene –EUSR certification or equivalent would be advantageous
•It would be desirable for some experience using an acoustic logger within the Water Industry or equivalent
•Computer and keyboard skills are essential
•Ability to communicate at all levels
•The role would suit someone with previous experience in a similar or equivalent t role. Any relevant training and assistance will be provided.
