Graduate Mechanical Engineer

FJA are recruiting on behalf of specialist engineering company who are based in the Rochdale area.

They are looking for a motivated and ambitious Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join their team, taking real responsibility for technical elements of a wide variety of projects.

You will be fully supported by an experienced team to grow and develop your skills as well as knowledge of the Company products.

As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer your main responsibilities include:
Design and procure mechanical parts, such as components of bearing assemblies, guarding, adapter plates etc.
Prepare drawings for layouts and lifting of equipment
Carry out technical assessments of screw pump bearings and write up reports
Arrange quotes for refurbishment and repair of equipment
Organise and order parts for projects

Key attributes:
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Experience of AutoCAD or equivalent drawing packages
Ability to improve processes, and work effectively with others to implement changes
Close attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with clients and suppliers
