Freedom Day – The importance of Key Workers
On Monday, the UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, announced that all social restrictions will be lifted on Monday 19th July.

Throughout the pandemic, one thing we have all come to realise how important our Key Workers are to us.

Here at Finlay Jude, we were very fortunate enough to work throughout the pandemic, providing Key workers for the Water Industry.

Water Companystaff continued to keep the nations water running through the pandemic, continuing to provide the vital services we needed.

All the Water Industry workers were out on the streets carrying out critical maintenance work, laying new pipes, and our Leakage Technicians were finding and fixing leaks.

We all know how important Water was for public health during the pandemic, and the Water Industry did not fail in putting all their efforts into maintaining Water supplies and Sewerage Services.

They provided clean, safe, and reliable drinking water for everyone!!
And now we have been given the green light for freedom.

Finlay Jude’s main priority has always been to look after our staff, the technicians on site and our own staff here in our lovely offices, so while we are getting back to normal life, we do feel like we should remain cautious.

Here are some tips to do just that:
  • Test when you have symptoms
  • Isolate when positive or contacted by Track and Trace
  • Meet outdoors where possible
  • Keep washing those hands

Finlay Jude are feeling very positive about this news, schools finish for summer, the sun is shining, and normality is almost upon us.

A big THANK YOU to our Key Workers, you have been amazing!!!
