Finlay Jude Associates are working with a leading national contractor who specialise in the utilities sector.
The company are now looking for an experienced Depot Manager to join their growing depot network. The job: The company are seeking a Depot Manager for their drainage division to lead the depot operations team to consistently deliver a safe and reliable service to their domestic and commercial client base.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running and leading the expansion of the division ensure that the branch sales levels, costings and controlled spending levels are achieved to enable the operating teams to meet customer demand, hit productivity targets and achieve profit budgets.
Supported by a team of Administration, Sales and Operations teams this role requires a leader to steer the team on a successful path as well as having a hands-on approach.
About you:

We are looking for someone with proven people management skills and previous experience of managing a team of 30+ staff, the ability to build strong and effective working relationships with senior staff and other divisional departments.

You must be able to demonstrate commercial and sales knowledge along with the ability to manage profit and achieve targets, liaise with the credit control department to ensure prompt collection of any debt.

You will have a good level of data integrity to ensure accuracy and consistency throughout the depot. In addition you will have a great focus on customer service and an understanding of a reactive service delivery industry.

In depth knowledge of health and safety is essential, and experience within the drainage, construction, civil engineering, waste or utilities, service industry or reactive maintenance industries would be an advantage.

You must hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
You may have experience of the following: Regional Manager, Maintenance, Area Manager, Operation Manager, Reactive Maintenance, Drainage, Waste, Utilities, and Reactive Maintenance.
