- FJA are working with a reputable and forward-thinking business, specialising in the Water and Wastewater Industry.
Mechanical Design Engineer role:
You will report directly to the Engineering Lead.

- Produce Outline and Detailed Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation Designs, which are cost effective and meet the requirements of the client’s specifications
- Production and checking of all design Specifications, Schedules, Drawings and Calculations
- Ensure designs are completed in accordance with CDM Regulations
- Ensure that standard designs and design practices are utilised wherever possible
- Delivering the design stage outputs of each project within the agreed timescale and budget
- Coordinating design outputs across all technical disciplines
- Preparing monthly project status reports
- Establish working relationships with construction staff and supply chain representatives to promote buildability and efficiency in design outputs
- Degree or an Equivalent Qualification
- Chartered in a Construction Discipline as appropriate to grade
- Experience in the Water Treatment Industry
- Working knowledge of CDM and Construction Health & Safety
