- Description
- FJA are recruiting on behalf of a well-established textiles manufacturing Company based in the Greater Manchester area.
To set up and supervise weaving machines to ensure fabric is produced to customer requirements.
There are both day and night shift available.
The Role:
- To check cut tickets for faults woven previously before starting to weave your shift.
- To record all weaving faults onto cut tickets.
- To check the correct weft is being used according to the MI.
- Top repair end down and broken weft to enable the looms to operate to the maximum efficiency and quality.
- To walk around allocated looms to ensure correct quality standards.
- To ensure rolls of cloth are taken off at the correct length stated on the MI, and the correct cut tickets are completed and attached to the roll.
- To report any malfunction of the machine to the Loom Technician.
- Raise any quality issues.
- To ensure looms and weft accumulators are kept clean
