- This national Utilities Service Provider has become regarded by many as a true industry leader. They are currently engaged in a high-profile frameworks Nationwide which in turn is generating national recognition. To help the project there is a need to increase the already successful team with an experienced Administrator.
The role will be based out of their offices in Preston.
The role will be 40 hours per week - Monday – Friday between the hours of 7am – 5pm. There is some flexibility regarding start and finish times.
As an Administrator you will be a key part of the back-office support team who are responsible for providing ongoing support to operational field teams.
Whilst previous experience in a similar role is desirable, full training will be provided to anyone with the passion and drive to deliver a great service!
My client is committed to developing staff and therefore within the role you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to all areas of the Back Office Support.
As the Administrator your duties and responsibilities will be:
- To work with internal and external (e.g. local highway inspectors) customers / stakeholders to ensure the Contract is running smoothly
- Managing and preparing new work within your designated area of responsibility
- Liaise with customers to keep them informed of work progress
- Maximise the productivity of the operations team by ensuring sufficient work is planned on a daily basis
- Assign & dispatch work to relevant operational teams
- Plan site surveys and/or customer warning card delivery activities, as required
- Serve and manage permits for all metering work to progress from start to finish
- Previous experience in a back-office support/administration role
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Competent in the use of information technology systems
- An understanding of NRSWA/TMA, planning and scheduling is desirable however training can be provided
- Effective communication and customer facing experience
- Excellent organisational skills
- Tenacious and determined
- Confident with positive attitude towards your work
